BLORA, (blora-ekspres.com) – Tiga Bupati, yakni Bupati Demak, dr. Eisti’anah, Bupati Grobogan, Sri Sumarni dan Bupati Blora, Arief Rohman mengajukan usulan peningkatan jalan provinsi Mranggen – Purwodadi – Blora menjadi jalan nasional ke Kementerian PUPR.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Bupati Blora, Arief Rohman, saat dimintai tanggapan terkait kerusakan jalan provinsi ruas Purwodadi-Blora oleh awak media, Kamis (31/03/2022).
Usulan ketiga bupati untuk peningkatan ruas jalan tersebut lantaran kondisi fisik jalan yang sudah tidak sebanding dengan beban tonase kendaraan yang melintas, sehingga kerap menimbulkan kerusakan.
“Ya, menyikapi kerusakan jalan provinsi yang ada di ruas Purwodadi – Blora, kita telah mengajukan perbaikan jalan ke Pak Gubernur dan DPU BMCK Jawa Tengah. Selain mengajukan perbaikan dari Provinsi. Kemarin ketika kita bertemu dengan Bupati Grobogan, kita sepakat akan menghadap ke Pak Menteri PUPR untuk menyampaikan usulan agar ruas Mranggen – Purwodadi – Blora bisa ditingkatkan jadi jalan nasional, sekalian dengan Bupati Demak,”ucap Arief sapaan akrab Bupati Blora.
Jadi, jelas Arief, kita ingin jalan mulai Mranggen menuju Purwodadi hingga Blora bisa naik kelas dari jalan provinsi menjadi jalan nasional. Seperti jalan Rembang – Blora – Cepu yang kini telah menjadi jalan nasional.
Dengan menjadi jalan nasional, tambah Arief, akan dilakukan peningkatan kualitas fisik dan dimensi lebar jalan.
“Jika jalan provinsi standartnya lebar 7 meter, kalau jalan nasional bisa menjadi 9 meter. Kita berharap nanti dapat respon yang baik oleh Pak Menteri PUPR,” tambah Arief.
Lebih lanjut, Arief menjelaskan, saat Presiden Joko Widodo meresmikan Bandara Ngloram akhir tahun 2021 kemarin juga telah kita sampaikan langsung bersama Bupati Grobogan.
Arief mengakui, saat ini kondisi jalan provinsi ini memang sedang rusak, utamanya di Kecamatan Kunduran dan Kecamatan Ngawen. Selain sempit, kondisi aspalnya banyak yang berlubang dan berkubang saat turun hujan deras.
“Banyak kendaraan bertonase yang berjalan pelan karena kondisi jalan rusak. Ruas ini menjadi jalur kedua dari Semarang menuju Surabaya selain pantura. Karena jaraknya lebih dekat. Kita berharap nanti Pak Menteri PUPR bisa mengkaji usulan kami. Tidak hanya di Blora saja, wilayah Purwodadi juga rawan rusak,” pungkas Arief.
